PRE-ORDER!!! This is my debut album - In Search of You, which I wrote from a perspective of writing recognizable melodies and focussing on storytelling. The funny thing is that when I was thinking about the sequence of songs from a musical standpoint the titles also lined up into a story which perfectly at the story I am trying to tell. While, the writing process itself was really started from just wanting to write songs.

This is my debut album which I wrote from a perspective of writing recognizable melodies and focussing on storytelling. The process of finishing and recording these tunes with my great friends, who happen to be amazing musicians, was incredibly enjoyable. The fun we had in the rehearsal space and studio, the laughs we had in the first few gigs trying out this repertoire and evolving it on stage. I thank them loads .
Also, the inspirational sessions I had prior to writing the songs with Benjamin Torbijn who is an incredible drummer. We spent an entire day just playing freely what came to mind in his backyard studio and two of the songs (Welcome Back and Loss’ Lullaby) grew out of inspiration of that session.
The album is about having something or someone and then losing it to time. First you welcome it into your life (Welcome Back) then you search for meaning in it (In Search of You). What or who you’re searching for is ofcourse open to interpretation. At first everything seems great (Morning Straight) and you fall into a nice comfort zone (Cushioned). But maybe you bump into something
(Immoveable Matters) and eventually you lose it (Loss’ Lullaby). Eventually we think back on what we had, maybe seeing it in reflections or in fantasy (River Sprite) and we think back on what we miss (In The Wee Small Hours of The Morning) concluding this album.
Thanks for buying my record. I hope you enjoy listening to it and would love to see you at one of my shows!
